The Europe-wide market launch of the C-Class Estate began in May 1996. With model series S 202, Mercedes-Benz was able to enter the sporty compact estate car segment for the first time. While the model had all the typical features of the C-Class in terms of safety, comfort and environmental compatibility, the cargo volume set new standards. In 1997, Mercedes-Benz presented the estate models of the C-Class in a revised design, with extended standard equipment and more modern technology, which resulted in significant safety and comfort improvements. With the miniature model of the S 202, the estate is making its way into hobby car collections and impresses with its faithful representation – both outside and inside. The precision model is not only painted in an authentic colour shade, but also features a high-quality decorated interior. Doors, bonnet and boot lid can be opened on the model. The limited edition model car is supplied in Mercedes-Benz Classic packaging, which includes a screwdriver for straightforward removal of the model and a glove to protect it from fingerprints.
